ORDERING: All orders must be submitted in written
form, using a U.S. Energy Sciences order form or your companys Purchase Order. All
orders must include:
Product catalog number, quantity and price
Billing Address
Shipping address (Do not use PO Boxes), requested
ship/delivery date and any special instructions.
Purchase Order number
Authorized signature
PAYMENT TERMS: U.S. Energy Sciences products are
typically sold on NET 30-day terms with prior credit approval. VISA cards are
accepted. Otherwise sales are pre-paid or COD. Late payments on all credit
arrangements will incur a late charge of 1 ½% per month.
SHIPPING: All shipments are FOB Manufacturing Facility.
U.S. Energy Sciences prepays the shipping carrier then includes the freight charges on the
product invoice under freight charges. Shipping carriers usually include one of the
following: UPS ground service for small orders and standard service by common surface
shipping companies for orders in excess of 500 pounds. Overnight freight charges, lift
gates or other special requirements must be specifically requested in writing and
shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer.
DAMAGE: The cartons are designed to insure best possible
protection of the merchandise and were packed with great care by experienced packers.
Since it is possible for shipments to be damaged in transit, regardless of the precautions
taken, U.S. Energy Sciences provides assistance to ease the problems caused by shipping
damage.
If partial damage occurs, it is best to accept the shipment and
follow the damage claims procedure. DO NOT REFUSE TO ACCEPT SHIPMENT unless the entire
shipment is damaged. Refusal of shipment may cause unnecessary delays and additional
shipping expense.
The customer is responsible for filing damage claims with the
shipper. The claim amount should be the amount you are billed for the damaged goods only.
The shipping company will reimburse your company directly. The customer is responsible for
thoroughly checking merchandise for shipping damage at the time of receipt and making
notice to the shipping agent of any and all visible damages. If concealed damages are
later discovered, the shipping agent must be notified and the concealed damage verified.
If you suspect hidden damage, so note it on the Bill of Lading.
IN ALL PARTIAL DAMAGE SITUATIONS, THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE
FOR FILING THE DAMAGE CLAIM AND WILL RECEIVE DIRECT REIMBURSEMENT FROM THE SHIPPING
COMPANY.
Submit a replacement order for the damage parts to U.S. Energy
Sciences and we will expeditiously fill the order. We are willing to assist you in any way
we can in collecting your claims for loss or damage, but this willingness on our part does
not make us responsible for collection of claims or replacement of material.
RETURNS: Returned merchandise is only accepted if it is
standard product in as new condition. Fixtures must be boxed in original carton and
reflectors must have the protective poly coating. A restocking charge of 20% will be
applied to all accepted returns. Custom designed products are not accepted for return or
credit. Standard products are not generally accepted for returns after 90 days
Returned merchandise must have prior written approval of U.S.
Energy Sciences within ninety days of receiving shipment. To affect a return, contact your
sales representative to submit your request. If approved, a Returned Goods Authorization
(RGA) number will be assigned and a copy of the authorization will be mailed or FAXED to
you for your records.
CUSTOMER MUST PREPAY FREIGHT FOR ALL RETURNS. |
