System Description - Basic Use and Limitations

Highbays are designed for commercial, retail and institutional applications as an alternative replacement of HID lighting systems. Available in up to a 12-lamp configuration in either 32 Watt T8 with high power electronic ballast or 54 Watt T5.

These fluorescent fixtures have the following advantages over an HID system:
· Use less energy
· Better color rendering
· Instant start
· Can be used with a motion sensor
· Re-strike time is instant

Fixture housing and ends are constructed from die formed code steel, embossed for strength and uniformity. The heavy-duty ends attach to housing with interlocking tabs and screws. Quick access plate for convenient power connections.

All painted metal parts are pre-treated with a phosphate bonding process and painted with electrostatically applied high temperature baked white enamel for superior quality and durability. Aisle Lighters are constructed of galvanized steel and post paint for years of durability.

Reflectors are constructed from highly polished anodized aluminum. Material form, fit and thickness meet or exceed all UL 1570 requirements. Computer assisted design provides maximum light output, uniform light distribution, rigid strength and ballast access without the use of tools. Reflectors have a minimum of 93 percent Image Clarity (D/I) and 95 percent Reflectivity (TR). The durable surface is highly resistant to scratching and non-abrasive cleaning solutions, making the reflector easy to clean.
