System Description - Basic Use and Limitations

This series includes full coverage reflectors for 2x2, 2x4 and 1x4 fixtures. These reflector kits maximize fixture efficiency, providing uniform light distribution. The reflector becomes the new ballast cover and easily snaps in and out for ballast maintenance. Kit contains reflector, mounting brackets, wire guards and fasteners. Socketed kit additionally include jumpered sockets (standard) or non-jumpered sockets (please specify non-jumpered).  Jumpered (shunted) sockets are required for instant start ballast.  Rapid start ballast require non-jumpered or non-shunted sockets.

Installation of the retrofit kit is simple and easy, requiring only basic hand tools. The process involves removing the existing lamps, sockets and ballast cover then installing the new brackets and sockets. The reflector is then easily attached to the brackets and the wire guards are snapped into place.

Reflectors are aluminum with a wide range of finish options to meet a full array of lighting needs. Brackets are constructed from die formed code steel, embossed for strength and uniformity. All painted metal parts are pre-treated with a phosphate bonding process and painted with electrostatically applied high temperature baked white enamel for superior quality and durability.
Computer assisted design results in maximum light output, uniform light distribution, rigid strength and ballast access without the use of tools.

The KT and KP reflector kits are available in many different profiles. Generally, profile is determined by fixture size or internal fixture body dimension. While the KTC style reflector will fit most 2-lamp applications, it is recommended that dimension sheets be completed and faxed to the factory for correct sizing.
